From bean to cup

De’Longhi’s coffee beans are grown following good, clean and fair guidelines, in the plantation Finca Rio Colorado, which is part of the Las Capucas Sustainable Village.

This Slow Food Community was created in 2021 and it’s located in Las Capucas, municipality of San Pedro de Copán, west of Honduras. Its aim is to ensure the commercialization of good quality coffee and generate economic income for the families of coffee producers committed to the environment and productive sustainability, training them in Slow Food values.

The high quality of the beans has been tested by the coffee expert Andrej Godina, following the Specialty Coffee Association’s criterias. Different, natural, essential: get ready for a coffee like no other.

El viaje sostenible de De’Longhi

Este viaje es nuestro compromiso con los amantes del café para que tomen decisiones de café más responsables al proporcionarles más conocimientos sobre las personas y los procesos que componen la cadena de valor del café.

Nuestro objetivo, de la mano de nuestra asociación con Slow Food Coffee Coalition, es apoyar las actividades de los productores de café y capacitar a los agricultores haciendo conscientes a los consumidores de sus mejores prácticas y su compromiso con la producción de un café bueno, sano y justo.

La Slow Food Coffee Coalition es una red internacional abierta y colaborativa que reúne a todos los integrantes de la cadena de suministro del café, desde los agricultores hasta los consumidores. También respalda la creación de un Sistema participativo de garantía (SPG) que ayude a identificar los cafés buenos, sanos y justos.
