Cafeteras Espresso Manual

Finish & Design

The design of our Manual coffee machines, is inspired by the commercial coffee machines you can find in your favourite coffee shop. They are finished in either plastic or metal. Some are painted to suit the interior design of your kitchen. If space is limited, the range also includes more compact appliances.

Type of coffee

With De'Longhi manual coffee machines you can select models that just deliver rich and creamy espresso, or discover more advanced models, such as La Specialista range, that offer a wider variety of coffee and milk-based drinks, thanks to ColdBrew Technology and the De'Longhi automatic milk preparation system.

Pressure

Pressure is one of the key elements that determines a good quality espresso extraction. Other elements working in unison will produce a perfect result: grind size, tamping pressure, water temperature, and the dose of ground coffee.

Milk texturing system

Manual coffee machines are equipped with a steam wand to texture the milk. Premium manual coffee machines feature a powerful steam wand, perfect for creating silky microfoam, used to create latte art. Some models feature the LatteCrema system: an automatic texturing system that combines steam, air, and milk in an ideal ratio, to create a perfect microfoam that is delivered directly from the carafe to the cup.

Aroma
Characterized by intensity and quality, aroma is detected when the nose approaches the cup and the olfactory cells come into contact with the volatile chemical compounds released by the drink.

Brewing
The process of pouring hot water onto ground coffee beans. Water infuses the ground coffee, absorbs its chemical elements then passes through a filter to make the coffee beverage.

Roasting
Roasting is the ‘cooking’ of the green coffee beans through the application of heat for a certain time. Only after roasting are beans are ready to be ground.
